Free First Friday
Admission is free on the first Friday of every month. Tickets are released two weeks before each date, at 12 pm ET. From May through September, the Museum is open with extended hours until 8 pm on Free First Fridays.

Members and free program partners may visit any time during open hours, Wednesday–Sunday, 11 am–6 pm (last entry is at 5:30 pm), without making a reservation. Please provide proof of membership to the staff upon arrival. Contact tickets@noguchi.org with any questions.
Tours
Public tours are available daily at 2 pm. Tours are conversational and explore select works in the Museum’s collection and exhibitions while introducing the life and vision of Isamu Noguchi. Free with admission; advanced registration is not required.
For the duration of Toshiko Takaezu: Worlds Within, Noguchi Educators will lead a guided touch experience with a selection of Toshiko Takaezu’s closed ceramic forms daily at 3 pm. This experience is free with admission and requires walk-up registration at the front desk. Capacity is limited to a maximum of 15 participants per day.
Public tours in Spanish take place on the first Friday of the month at 6:30 pm in July and August. Public tours in Japanese take place on select Saturdays at 3 pm.
Private guided tours in English, Spanish, or Japanese are available upon request for groups of up to 15 people. We offer free guided tours for visitors with disabilities and their carepartners, and local non-profit organizations. Group Visits
Groups visiting the Museum with more than 9 people are required to book in advance for self-guided visits to the Museum. To book a self-guided visit, email tickets@noguchi.org or call 718.204.7088 ext 240.
Accessibility
The Noguchi Museum is wheelchair accessible. A wheelchair and portable seating are available at the Museum entry desk. Service animals are welcome in the Museum. If you encounter any access issue at the Museum or using this website, please contact accessibility@noguchi.org.
Photography & Video Policy
The Isamu Noguchi Foundation and Garden Museum grants permission for photography for personal use only in the Museum’s galleries, sculpture garden and indoor/outdoor pavilion, with the following restrictions:
Tripods, monopods, selfie sticks, flashes, reflectors, other lighting equipment, and large format cameras (4×5) are prohibited.
Media recorded at the Museum may not be used commercially, i.e. in any print or digital publication, newspaper, magazine, multimedia, or social media or blog post that is sponsored and/or promoting a commercial product; or be sold, reproduced, transferred, distributed, or otherwise exploited in any manner.
Engagement photos, headshots, product shoots, sponsored posts, and all other types of photo shoot are not allowed. Costume changes, prolonged posing with and/or blocking artworks, and other characteristics of photo shoots are not permitted.
Isamu Noguchi’s intellectual property rights are managed by Artists Rights Society. For copyright permission to publish images of Isamu Noguchi’s work, and all other rights and reproduction inquiries, please contact archives@noguchi.org.
Any non-commercial photography for school projects requires advance permission, at a minimum of 24 hours before arrival at the Museum.
At all times, please move with awareness and consideration of fellow visitors’ enjoyment of the Museum, and for the safety of the artworks and plantings.
The Isamu Noguchi Foundation and Garden Museum reserves the right to withhold and/or withdraw permission to photograph or record video in the Museum, at any time and for any reason.
General Visitor Policies
The nearest bicycle racks are located at Socrates Sculpture Park, two blocks north across Vernon Boulevard. E-scooters are not permitted in the building or at the coat check.
Food and drink are not permitted in the Museum, except for water bottles with lids.
Pets are not permitted in the Museum.
Weapons of any kind are not allowed in the Museum.
Smoking, including electronic cigarettes, is not permitted anywhere on the grounds.
At all times, please move with awareness and consideration of fellow visitors’ enjoyment of the Museum, and for the safety of the artworks and plantings.
Health & Safety
There is a risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any public space. The Noguchi Museum cannot guarantee that you will not be exposed to COVID-19 during your visit, and by entering the Museum you assume the risk of such exposure.
If you feel unwell, have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 10 days, or have had close contact with anyone confirmed or suspected of having COVID-19, you may not visit the Museum. Tickets will be refunded.
