Learn about Isamu Noguchi’s work and find community through this free distance learning drawing program, held on every third Monday of the month. Draw with others in a supportive and mindful environment and experience a positive change in your physical and mental state by participating in art-making and reflective discussion on art, space, and time. Explore select artworks and practice introductory drawing techniques, then settle into a flow while creating a long sketch of a fixed-perspective film of a gallery space in The Noguchi Museum. Previous drawing experience is not necessary.
Registrants will be sent a link to participate through Zoom and should prepare to bring their own drawing tools and paper to the virtual session. Please email education@noguchi.org with questions about accessibility needs such as closed captioning, or high-resolution artwork images in advance of the program.
