Connect with nature through art making in a series of hands-on workshops led by Noguchi Educators at nearby Socrates Sculpture Park. These workshops are open to all ages and any skill level. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. All participants will be given a free pass to visit The Noguchi Museum after the program.

On Saturday, June 24, join Noguchi Educator Yali Romagoza in a movement and poetry workshop inspired by the practice of shinrin-yoku, or the Japanese art of forest bathing, to connect with the natural environment and release trauma.

Yali Romagoza (she/her) is a Cuban-born artist currently based in Queens, New York, and La Habana, Cuba. Her multidisciplinary art practice reflects on notions of feminism and identity, of power and oppression and to discuss broader issues of migration, politics, and social behavior. She graduated with an MFA in Fashion from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (2015) and a BA in Art History from the University of Havana (2006).
