Seen and Unseen: Myths and Legends

Thursday, April 29, 2021
2 pm–3:30 pm
Free

Seen and Unseen is a monthly series of virtual tours for adults who are blind or have low vision, leading participants through interactive experiences with Isamu Noguchi’s art. Museum educators engage participants through verbal descriptions and conversation.

Noguchi’s mother read Greek mythology to him as a young boy and inspired his interests in myths and stories. Join us in exploring sculptures Noguchi created that reference Japanese folklore and Arthurian legends.

This free program is offered remotely, accessible by Zoom link and dial-in phone number. Program times listed are EDT (Eastern Daylight Time). To RSVP, please email education@noguchi.org or call 718.204.7088 ext 203.
