Like The Bed of 1946 in African wonderstone or The Bed in Night Journey for Martha Graham in 1947 or Night Land of the same year in York Fossil marble. Water Table was for me an early and difficult piece in hard Swedish granite. This shows in its weight and restraint. The beginning is forever recurring, like discovery. The first time is unique and not repeatable.
