Community Day

Sunday, July 10, 2011 - 11:00am - 6:00pm

The Noguchi Museum welcomes visitors to attend a day of art viewing, guest speakers, music, and art-making for all ages.  This year’s Community Day will feature:

 

* An introduction to Noguchi’s animal drawings by Joianne Bittle, diorama painter and exhibition fabricator for the American Museum of Natural History

 

* A kinesthetic art exploration for teens and adults led by the Artist’s Collective FIG

 

*  An extended discussion about a single Noguchi sculpture 

 

*  Storytime

 

*  Art activities for families

 

*  Second Sundays summer series, Music in the Garden featuring the group So Percussion.
