The Noguchi Museum

Noguchi Museum Renovation Notice:

The Noguchi Museum has begun the second phase of its multi-stage renovation and conservation project, which will enable the Museum to meet the needs of its growing audience and exhibition programs. This phase of the renovation builds upon the earlier work – completing the stabilization and restoration of the main building and entry pavilion and creating climate controlled galleries.

Construction is scheduled to conclude in November 2008.

The Museum will remain open to the public during our regular visiting hours throughout the project. All exhibitions, public and education programs will continue during this time.

As the renovation will require the closing of some of the Museum’s galleries and garden throughout the summer, we apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we complete this work which is essential to the integrity of the Museum and the vibrant future of its programs and activities.

Call the museum for exhibition information updates.

The renovation of The Noguchi Museum is designed by Sage and Coombe Architects.

Exhibition Notice:

Design: Isamu Noguchi and Isamu Kenmochi will close on Sunday May 25.

The second floor galleries will be closed from May 26 to June 18 for the installation of our next exhibition, Highlights from the Permanent Collection.
